Webster by Design is committed to making our website and online shop accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe creativity should be inclusive and available to all, and we work to ensure our website provides a positive, user-friendly experience for all visitors.

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Our Commitment

We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our accessibility standard, and we are continually improving our site so that our physical and digital crafting products can be browsed, customized, and purchased easily by everyone.

Accessibility Features on Our Website

To improve accessibility, our website includes:

  • Responsive design that adapts to different devices and screen sizes

  • High-contrast text and clear visual hierarchy

  • Alternative text added to images whenever possible

  • Keyboard-accessible navigation

  • Clear product descriptions

  • Adjustable text sizing (using browser tools)

  • Support for screen readers on most pages

 

We also work with Wix’s built-in accessibility tools to help maintain an inclusive website experience.

Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is an ongoing process. As a small business, we are continuously reviewing and updating:

  • Image alt-tags

  • Form labels

  • Color contrast and readability

  • Navigation flow

  • Accessibility of downloadable digital files

 

We also test new content and new product pages to avoid introducing accessibility barriers.

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts, some areas may not yet be fully accessible:

  • Some decorative images may not have full alternative text

  • Third-party content or apps used on the site may not fully meet accessibility standards

  • Older digital downloads (PDFs, templates, etc.) may not yet be fully optimized for screen readers

 

We are actively working to resolve these issues as we continue to update the site.
